Features

Working Principle
The WRV-C reducer features two reduction stages: the first stage is an involute planetary gear mechanism; the second stage is a cycloidal pinion gear mechanism. The WVRV-C reducer can be used in many ways. The rotation direction and speed ratio are shown in the figure below.

3. Harmonic Reducer
Characteristics of Harmonic Drive:
- High Precision: Multiple teeth mesh simultaneously at two 180-degree symmetrical positions. Therefore, the impact of gear pitch errors and cumulative pitch errors on rotational accuracy is more evenly distributed, resulting in extremely high positional and rotational accuracy.
- High Transmission Ratio: The transmission ratio of a single-stage harmonic gear drive can reach i=30-500. Its simple structure, with only three coaxial basic components, can achieve a high reduction ratio.
- High Load Capacity: In harmonic drive, teeth mesh with each other through surface contact, and the large number of teeth meshing simultaneously results in a low load per unit area, resulting in a higher load capacity than other transmission types.
- Small Size and Light Weight: Compared to conventional gear systems, the size and weight can be significantly reduced, enabling miniaturization.
